In my earlier blog I have referred to the Working Draft of the Guide for Social Responsibility. It has now become the Committee Draft, and hence this update. Studying the standard as it takes shape would enable an organization to be in the fore front and adopt it as soon as it gets released. The guide has already taken considerable time for its formulation due to extended consultations and as the social issues to be attended to are on the increase, it is considered that a quick adoption would be a fitting response from the corporate sector.

For a long time there has been a focus on the “perfect” order in the supply chain. In the current economic climate the instinct is to capture all demand at any cost. Amongst other things, there is a need to focus on a “profitable” order. One of the more common issues I see on the forums relate to the use of VS .NET datasets and Crystal Reports. For the most part, the issues are; slow performance, incorrect data, no data, prompt for login credentials to a database and more.
