| Exchange of KM content across KM repositories Posted: 19 May 2009 03:08 AM PDT Content Exchange service is used to transfer the content among the KM repositories. Content exchange service has two components, syndication server (Syndicator Administrator iView) that distributes content and a client (Subscriber administrator iView) that receives content. Since the service uses the Information and Content Exchange (ICE) protocol, it can be used for transferring content to repositories in other system environments provided they have an ICE-enabled client for receiving content. ICE is an XML-based Web protocol. This facilitates the controlled exchange and management of Electronic assets across the web. |
