According to the International Monetary Fund, in their recently released World Economic Outlook of April 2009, by all measures (and they have many) we are experiencing the worst recession since the Great Depression. For retailers, will it be déjà vu all over again or the future ain’t what is use to be (with apologies to Yogi Berra)? |

| Reducing Time taken for Compression Job of the Cubes Posted: 16 Jul 2009 10:24 AM PDT Long running compression job is a typical problem for cubes containing huge amount of data. The job keeps on running which eventually has to be killed and restarted, thus consuming lot of time. The compression time can be reduced considerably by managing the indices of the E-Table of the cube. This document illustrates the details and steps for managing the indices of the Cube. |
