Many SAP ABAP based applications run in background jobs which in turn create other background jobs (e.g. to allow for mass processing in parallel). For a job administrator there is the challenge to manage this newly created parent-child relationship. With SAP's XBP 2.0 (or higher) interface the relationship is recognized by your external job scheduler (such as SAP Central Process Scheduling by Redwood.)
