| Partners Important in 2009 for BPM @ SAP - will be vital in 2010 Posted: 29 Jan 2010 06:37 PM PST 2009 was a watershed year for the BPM program here at SAP. SAP Partners are a key part of this momentum. Overall we’ve seen strong uptake by early adopters in the partner community, with more than 25 partners contacting SAP about SAP NetWeaver BPM, 22 of whom achieved “active” or “honor roll” status ... |

| Building Community: How do I attract and grow members? Posted: 29 Jan 2010 01:50 PM PST Over the course of nearly seven years building the SAP Community Network (SCN) to its current state serving ~2 million members -- and along the way receiving plenty of flattering accolades -- we've learned a bit about building and orchestrating and nurturing professional social media communities for business purposes. We are frequently asked to share what we've learned, so in an occasional series, I'd like to do exactly that... share our experiences and insights so that others can benefit - by emulating our successes and by avoiding our mistakes. We are not the only or leading experts on this topic, but according to people who ask, we do have something of value to share... so in the spirit of community, I'll publish an ongoing series to share what we know (or think we know). |

I would like to share with you one BPM partner sales story that I found from 2009 where the customer and partner took a value-oriented approach to a BPM project proposal, and the results were significant. |
