In last few weeks I have answered quite many questions both here on SDN and personal emails about how to start with SAP. Some of that people become my friends; of course I have never seen any one of them. But I can understand the importance of changing the career course, I understand the uncertainty that arise from the career shift, I try to understand all what matters to those people. One get an email or read a question in Community forums here on SDN and start thinking what to tell the guy to tell the truth about the SAP career, the demands, to describe all the must-have knowledge or welcomed experience etc. I have tried to help all those people with respect to their specific background, their wishes and needs, their images of a future in SAP and especially their experience. After all that I have realized, many aspects and questions to ask themselves are the same for everybody.
