OnDemand training in SAP NetWeaver IDM Virtual Directory Server 7.1 Posted: 13 Apr 2010 05:50 AM PDT The SAP NetWeaver IDM Virtual Directory Server (VDS) is an integral part of SAP NetWeaver Identity Management (IDM). While there is an SAP Education course for the Identity Center (course code: TZNWIM), there is not an equivalent course for the Virtual Directory Server. To fill this knowledge gap this blog introduces e-learnings for the Virtual Directory Server 7.1 that are available on SDN.

Data Extraction of BI datasource from ECC into flat files using Debug mode. Posted: 12 Apr 2010 02:23 PM PDT In real time Scenario we need data from the ECC system directly in the Excel Format. Due to huge data the system utilize more memory space and in turn will take a lot of time to execute the data and finally after few hours the system goes to short dump. In such cases, we can easily achieve this by using the Debug mode and export the data into the flat file.

2 reasons why we like NetWeaver BPM for Data Governance Posted: 12 Apr 2010 02:11 PM PDT Master Data Governance presents a great opportunity for realizing the value of NetWeaver BPM. It is critical to define the appropriate orchestration tool that allows simplified user experience, tight synchronization of human interaction with system integration and the separation of business logic from the underlying technical landscape.

SAP MDM Enrichment Adapter - more than just enrichment Posted: 12 Apr 2010 09:50 AM PDT It is possible that the Enrichment Adapter can even be used for doing enhanced validations and assignments using the flexibility offered by the Java programming language. In this blog, I would be focusing on a sample scenario where we can use the enrichment adapter to extract those non-qualifier values of a Lookup Qualified Flat field that satisfy a condition imposed on the qualifier values.
SAP IS - Oil : ASTM 2004 Routines Compilation on Windows Posted: 12 Apr 2010 09:49 AM PDT In my Blog, I have covered how Oil and Gas Customers could go ahead with using ASTM 2004 Routines shipped by API [FlowCal now] with their SAP IS - Oil implementation on their Windows Server Setup. Also a brief introduction is given about QCI and why it is the soul of all Oil and Gas Business transactions.
