Even if you’re not directly involved in selling a product, getting an idea of what people do, what delights them and what frustrates them is key to understanding where the solution needs to be improved or where a solution needs to be implemented. Conversely, If you want your work conditions to improve you have to be appropriately vocal about your work experiences with the technology you useyou’re your expectations otherwise no one will ever know that something is inefficient or ineffective. Innovation can only arise from an understanding of the status quo, this means questions need to be answered.
