In this blog, I am going to talk about old concepts, not new technologies. Are old concepts irrelevant today? In the last 10+ years, I have been primarily focusing on infrastructure side of Business Warehouses. Recently I have started observing several anomalies in SAP BW design. I also happened to read Vitaliy's blog "Is your BW the Data Warehouse,anyway?". This really opened my eyes and his blog validated my thoughts about BW. So this blog is an attempt to candidly explain my thoughts about BW implementations based on my own experiences and the blogs I read in sdn.
