Over the years I have interviewed many prospective ABAP developers. What I am dismayed by is the complacency and lack of re-skilling in a large portion of the ABAP community. I see many ABAPers that rely entirely on the skills and techniques they learned a decade or more ago. With a new age of development skills required to meet the needs of mobility etc, is there hope for this generation of ABAPers?
